Vikruthi (transl. Mischief) is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Emcy Joseph and produced by A. D. Sreekumar, Ganesh Menon and Lakshmi Warrier. The film stars Suraj Venjarammoodu and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles.

It traces the historical origin of the Sinhalese people back to the first king who mentioned in documentary history of Sri Lanka, Vijaya, who is the son of Sinhabahu (Sanskrit meaning 'Sinha' (lion) + 'bahu' (hands, feet), the ruler Kaushalya Fernando (Sinhala: කෞෂල්යා ප්රනාන්දු), is a Sri Lankan actress, director, producer and a civil activist. Highly versatile actress who dominated stage drama and cinema, Fernando is a five-time winner of the prestigious best actress award at the State Drama festival. Dramas in Sri Lanka began first with ritualistic performances of early polytheistic religions. Originating from masked dances who took on the roles of gods and demons in ritualistic practices, the theatre tradition gradually became free of religion and crystalized into an organized form of entertainment.
